What to bring? *eeek*
=========================
So the last two days have consisted of Dan napping, swimming, working out, and COOKING, yes cooking. I've cooked the last two dinners, and surprisingly all the family members have survived. And if I may say so myself, they were both quite yummy. For the first night, I made rice noodles, tofu with pork chop, and a vegetable dish. And on the second, I made this scrambled egg mixed with onions, shrimp, and barbeque pork. Definitely not a kosher meal, but a very yummy one. So hopefully you won't here about a Seattle grad student who starved to death because he couldn't cook.
So what else? I've been trying to decide what to bring and what not to bring. It isn't as easy as it seems. Take clothes for example. I don't know what I should be wearing in seattle. Is it gonna get cold? I know it'll be rainy and such... but t-shirts and shorts? should I bring more? less? And my music? Should I bring all of my cd's? or just one booklet? do I buy a stereo there? or just bring a discman? I thought I'd just not listen to music and live a spartan life, but a Trojan can't live a spartan life, can he? that'd just be wrong *chuckle* anyhoo, headed back up to SC to cover for one Nima Mehran who broke his tooth in a fight, so couldn't work Orientation... I'll talk about Nima another day... quite the interesting fellow.
